About the Journal
The Libyan Journal of Sustainable Development Research is a peer-reviewed academic scientific journal issued by the Libyan Center for Sustainable Development Research. It is dedicated to publishing original research and studies that contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and support sustainable development pathways at the local, regional, and international levels. The journal aims to provide a rigorous scholarly platform for academic dialogue and the exchange of research expertise among researchers and specialists across various fields of knowledge.
The journal covers a wide range of disciplines, including, but not limited to, the humanities and social sciences, economic and administrative sciences, environmental sciences, and applied and engineering sciences related to sustainable development. It welcomes theoretical and applied research papers, field studies, and review articles, in line with its objectives and scientific mission.
The journal adheres to international academic publishing standards and adopts a double-blind peer-review system, ensuring integrity, impartiality, and high quality of published content.
Publication Guidelines
In order to ensure the quality and scientific rigor of published research, the Libyan Journal of Sustainable Development Research adheres to the following publication regulations:
Originality of the Manuscript
The manuscript must be original and unpublished, and it must not be under consideration for publication by any other journal or entity at the same time. A written declaration confirming this is required from the author.
Scientific Methodology
The manuscript must demonstrate methodological clarity, well-defined objectives, sound research design, accurate analysis, and valid conclusions, in accordance with established scientific principles within the relevant discipline.
Peer Review
All submitted manuscripts are subject to confidential peer review by specialized reviewers. Acceptance requires approval by at least two reviewers, and authors may be requested to make revisions prior to final acceptance.
Language of Publication
Manuscripts written in Arabic or English are accepted, provided that the scientific writing is accurate and free of linguistic errors. An abstract and keywords must be included in the language of the manuscript and in a second language.
Research Ethics
Authors must comply with the principles of research ethics, including academic integrity, accurate citation and referencing of sources, and avoidance of plagiarism in all its forms.
Manuscript Formatting
Manuscripts must adhere to the journal’s approved template in terms of formatting, page limits, citation style, tables, and figures. Any manuscript that does not meet the formal requirements will be returned to the author before being sent for peer review.
Copyright
The journal retains the publication rights of accepted manuscripts, while preserving the intellectual property rights of the authors. Reuse of the manuscript for academic purposes is permitted, provided that the original source of publication is properly acknowledged.
Publication Decision
The Editorial Board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to any manuscript. Its decision is final and is based on peer-review reports and the journal’s scientific vision.

The submission email must include the manuscript file in Word format, along with the author’s information (full name, academic degree, institutional affiliation, email address, and phone number).
